National Solar Trade Group Strengthens Leadership Ranks with New Board Members
WASHINGTON, D.C.— This winter the Solar Energy Industries Association (SEIA) welcomed Inovateus Solar, Sunnova, Sunlight Financial and Aon to its board of directors. The four companies represent a range of solar sectors, including finance, residential and commercial installation, and utility-scale solar development. They come to SEIA’s board as the organization focuses on new market opportunities for solar to reach 20% of U.S. electricity generation by 2030.

WASHINGTON, D.C.— Lawmakers on the House Ways and Means Committee’s Subcommittee on Tax Policy have re-introduced the Growing Renewable Energy and Efficiency Now (GREEN) Act. The bill includes several key solar provisions, including a five-year extension of the solar Investment Tax Credit (ITC), and a direct pay option for large projects when claiming the ITC. Solar Companies Unite to Prevent Forced Labor in the Solar Supply Chain
WASHINGTON, D.C. — Today 175 solar companies, including some of the top solar manufacturers in the world, are announcing that they have signed a pledge opposing forced labor in the solar supply chain. By signing the pledge, companies are stating their commitment to help prevent these abhorrent practices and ensure that the products they are using do not have links to forced labor in the Xinjiang region of China, or anywhere else in the world.
