Notable Solar Installations in Kentucky

  • Bowling Green Solar Farm was completed in Sep. 2011 by developer SunDurance Energy.  This PV project has the capacity to generate 2 MW of electricity-- enough to power over 190 homes. 
  • Several large retailers in Kentucky have gone solar, including General Motors, which has installed one of the largest corporate photovoltaic systems in the state with 20 kW of solar capacity at their location in Bowling Green.
